CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Eligibility
(a) Players must be at least 8 years old to enter
(b) All players are to be a biological or legal relation with their playing partner
(c) Players may be entered into another age group if insufficient entries are received for a particular age group
2. Rules of Play
(a) Scoring system or format of matches shall be determined by the tournament organiser depending on the number of entries
(b) Feather shuttles shall be used
(c) Players, parents & volunteers are to comply with the WBA Code of Conduct
3. Player Duties
(a) Wear appropriate badminton clothing and non-marking shoes
(b) Act as umpires when requested
(c) Agree to having photographs, audio and/or video recordings taken of the player that may be used in promotional material by WBA including but not limited to flyers, websites and social media
4. General – The Tournament Organiser reserves the right to:
(a) Cancel any event in which insufficient entries are received, or if time does not permit a full competition to be played
(b) Default a player/pair who are not available to play at the scheduled time
