Masters, Vets & Super Vets

Masters, Veterans, Super Vets program is aimed at players over 35 years old motivated to represent and compete for Waikato at regional and national events. Being part of these Representative teams can also be fun, inspiring and motivating as you are immersed in the game with like-minded players. These events will give you an opportunity to play against some of the best players in New Zealand. Trials for Representative Teams typically occur in February of each year.

Waikato Badminton currently has three Masters Division teams, three Vets teams and one Super Vets team in the Badminton New Zealand Inter-Association competition. All nominating players are required to attend trials, unless permission has been granted by the selectors.

The Masters, Vets & Super Vets representative practice sessions are held on Sunday evenings from 7.00pm-9.00pm at the Eastlink Badminton Stadium. These sessions start after trials are held and teams are announced.
